My website is totally a hobby for me and a diary in some ways. I get bored easily and so it was time to change the theme of my website. I like open and light in my life, that includes my website.

October 6, 2015 I haven't posted since June 11, 2015! Why?
Life changes happen to all of us, some changes seem to happen all at once and you might become overwhelmed. I have felt like that in the last few months. First the biggest change in my life is my weight loss. The weight loss was a very happy accident! It all started because of my autoimmune diseases and IBS. I was afraid to ever go out and eat a meal, I never knew if I would make it to a restroom fast enough. The pain was intolerable! The full story is here, http://www.pinkshellknob.com/about-me.html
With this weight loss I walk 3 miles every day, six days a week, which takes time and readjustment of priorities.
This spring and summer here in Shell Knob it rained and rained, consequently my grass washed into the lake (replanting now) and my flowers were pathetic! So no pictures to post! We couldn't even get in the lake to swim until July and it was the end of July before it was safe to go boating or use my new jet ski, which I only bought because of the weight loss. :-)
The next change is my studio! I have moved it to our sunroom which is wonderful. I will be sharing posts later. The move from the basement took two months to complete and then we completely refurbished from top to bottom the room where my studio had been, posts to follow also. With the move and my lack of patience a bad thing happened, I did not take the time to eject correctly my external hard drives. One of my external hard drives would not power-up after the move, the one with all the important stuff! I am a digital scrapbooker and so all my pictures of family, digital scrapbooking supplies and both of my website information was on that external hard drive and gone. Oh yes, I had backed up on another external hard drive some pictures but not all by a long ways. I was sick. SICK! What to do, I decided if the government good get Hillary's emails back maybe, it could be done for me. I am a fan of the Geek Squad at Best Buy. I went to my local store in Branson, MO and they said there was a possibility the information could be recovered. They sent the hard drive off to their recovery location and six weeks later they called and said the information had been recovered. $500.00 later I had my precious pictures back, an expensive lesson learned. As if I didn't know better. UGH!!!
All in all a very busy summer and so my excuses for neglecting my website.

Grandmother Minnie . . . . .A Grandmother I never knew. I wonder what kind a Grammi I would be now if I had known my Grandmothers? Strange thinking about it now, knowing how important my grandchildren are to me, would I have been loved as much by my grandmothers, as I love my grandchildren? When I was contemplating doing a website and blog, the most difficult obstacle was choosing a title for my site. I asked my husband, "Dale what would be a good name for my website?" I had thought about my Dad's middle name of Bowlby, it is such an unusual name, but Dale said, "Let me think about it." A little later, he said how about "Minnie's Milestones, after your grandmother." So that is it! Minnie is an old name and I think it fits my website, of old stuff. I think this will be like a diary, except it definitely won't have a key to lock it up.

My Dearest Granddaughter,
I wanted to give you a very special birthday present. A present you would never forget and remember me with a smile. I had always regretted not giving your Mother a Tea Party, so the Tea Party was very important for me to give you. I re-made the hats for the girls, put in little pink bags especially ordered with "Sm:)e", pearl bracelets, boas, gloves and for you a special pink hat. You were gorgeous! We bought special little tea cups, used real china and real silver, decorated the table with my special tablecloth and the chairs were tied with voile ribbon. The cake was spectacular in sparkling pink sugar. Yes, it was a special day and I am so very thrilled to have given you this Tea Party! Love, Grammi.
