Scrapbooking is about making memories. All those old photos that we all have of past generations, usually with no idea who the people are, or where the photo was taken or even a date. Years ago when my children were little and scrapbooking was just starting, WHY OR WHY, didn't I listen to my friend Ann Smith when she invited me to start paper scraping because now the photos of my children are just in boxes. I am going to make sure that my grandchildren will have theses memories. In case of a disaster my scrapbooks and my external hard drives would be the first thing I would try and save. I also make sure I backup to another external hard drive once a month with the latest pictures and my digital scrapbook pages, this external hard drive is then put in a fire and water safe lockbox. This is also made easier now that I do only digital scrapbooking. The key to digital scrapbooking is organization of not only your pictures but your digital supplies and of course the printing of your pages. The only place I have my pages printed by is Persnickety Prints and they do an awesome job!!!!
Make sure to checkout how I store my scrapbooks! Here
